UofL users update their passwords in our Identity Management System.
For students, faculty, and staff, on all campuses, we recommend our Eduroam wi-fi (sign in with your UofL username and password). ULsecure is another option for encrypted connectivity. ULvisitor is for open, short-term use only.
Yes, the ITS HelpDesk is available and has a wide variety of contact methods, including 1:1 assistance. Our self-service ticketing catalog allows the UofL community to submit a request or log an issue. For how-to guides and frequently asked questions, our ITS Knowledge Base provides additional self-help options. Our Desktop Support team and both of the Classroom Support and Find my Tier One listings can also provide assistance.

The Classroom Support webpage has listings for technology assistance by building and room number. For those classrooms without a designated primary support, please call (502) 852-6465.
For life threatening or medical emergency, please contact the ULPD at (502) 852-6111 or website for more info. For technology or single-sign-on problems, network or wi-fi issues, please contact our ITS HelpDesk for assistance. For enterprise systems or security issues, please submit a service ticket.
If you believe you’ve gotten an email that is phishing or a scam, the best way to alert our security is team is to use the Report feature in Outlook. Select the Email > Report > Report Phishing. See our phishing webpage for more info.
UL2FCTR / Duo is the application that UofL uses for two-factor authentication or second verification of identity for extra security of online accounts. UL2FCTR / Duo requires enrollment and a manner of submitting a verification code to allow access to most UofL systems for employees.
