ITS Leadership

The vice provost and chief information officer (CIO) oversees ITS with the assistance of two leadership teams. Our executive leadership team reports directly to the CIO. Our senior leadership team directs support staff who provide technology services across each campus at the University of Louisville. 

Governance

The CIO and his leadership teams set the strategic direction for ITS with the counsel of our university's ITS governance committees. These committees include faculty, fiscal officers, lead administrators and our technology partners. We appreciate the work these committees do in identifying and recommending innovative and comprehensive technologies that the university needs.

OneIT

OneIT will be a cohesive, collaborative organization that thrives through the power of our diverse technical community. We aspire to build a digital ecosystem with integrated services, support, secure applications and systems that are adaptive to UofL’s needs with a focus on scalability and sustainability.

Policies

We work closely with the Information Security Office to ensure the integrity of UofL’s technology and digital assets. Official technology policies and procedures are available in the university’s Policy and Procedure Library. Specific policies related to encryption, security incidents and passwords are most frequently requested.
