Office 365 – free software for the UofL community - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Whiteboard and more. Everyone in the UofL community as access the online O365 suite of products. Just signing in (using your userID@louisville.edu email address) to your UofL Outlook email via outlook.office.com allows free access to the O365 system. Look to the upper left for a 3x3 dot favicon, click to see available products for download on up to 5 devices for enrolled students and employees. 

Microsoft Learn – Gain a better understanding, experience or certification with Microsoft products, services and platforms. Most training on the online learning resource is free with your UofL access. Students can find technical skills essential to the job market. Faculty have access to the educator center with interactive lessons and helpful programs. Staff will find professional development opportunities and a community blog for O365 products. 

Adobe Creative Cloud – free software and online digital applications for the UofL community – Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Firefly (AI) and more. Everyone in the UofL community as access the online Adobe Creative suite of products. Just signing in (using your userID@louisville.edu email address) allows online access and/or downloads with use on up to two devices at a time. 

Adobe Digital Academy – designed for students and creative types – Learn how to make the most of Adobe Express and Creative Cloud applications. Gain insights from Adobe experts and complete courses to get digital badges, enhance your skills and transform your knowledge of art, design and communication solutions. 

LinkedIn Learning – free online learning courses, programs and certifications for the UofL community – A full catalog of learning paths with an extremely wide range of business, technology and creative topics. Learn skills, software or knowledge with personal or career development in mind. Check out the University of Louisville curated topics and course suggestions. Sign in with your userID@louisville.edu email or synched LinkedIn account. 

MATLAB and Simulink – free online learning tools, essential software, technology training and tutorials – Students and faculty can explore subjects such as engineering, advanced math, data analytics, data visualization, coding, robotics and more! To access the portal, a UofL userID and password is required. References, documentation, video tutorials are organized by topic and skill level. 

Gartner Resources – a technology consulting firm provides in-depth research, information, reports and analytics on virtually all areas of information technology is now available to everyone in the university community. Amazon Web Services (AWS) training – Courses ranging from basic coding to game development to AWS dedicated services are offered as both free and at cost. This learn-at-your-own-pace digital training offers various certifications and ways to build your skills.
