Meet Your Advisor
Brandon Halcomb – Business Living Learning Community (LLC) Staff Advisor, University of Louisville
In addition to Business LLC Staff Advisor, I have served as a Business Student Success Coordinator for the last 2 1/2 years. I also teach the Business LLC section of CAMP 100, serve as academic support coordinator, and work in collaboration with the Business Alumni Council.
It is my goal for LLC students to not only excel academically, but to get a head start on their business careers by building a large professional network with peers, professors, and other business professionals.
I have worked in higher education for the last 9 years. My background includes career counseling, special retention projects, coaching students to navigate academic and non-academic barriers, professional networking, and promoting the many scholarships and on campus resources available to business students.
Prior to joining UofL, I served as Ready to Work Coordinator at Jefferson Community and Technical College. There I provided personalized success coaching and career pathways to a diverse caseload of student parents.
I received a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Western Kentucky University in 2021, also a graduate certificate in non-profit administration.
