Cardinal Family Weekend
CARDINAL FAMILY WEEKEND REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Cardinal Family Weekend 2025 will be September 19-21, 2025. We look forward to seeing your family for a fun weekend of reconnecting, cheering on the Cards, and exploring the city.
Tickets will be $40 per participant and includes:
- Friday Welcome Reception
- BINGO & amazing prizes (Friday)
- Cardinal Family Weekend Tailgate (Saturday)
- Cardinal Family Weekend Giveaway
- Other fun events!

We recommend individuals arrive on Friday as campus offices will be open and welcoming families.
Parking
- Friday -
- Families can park in pay lot of the Floyd Street parking garage. (2126 S Floyd St., enter on side of building near Starbucks)
- Beginning at 4:45pm families can park in the lot next to the College of Business. (110 West Brandeis Ave.)
- Parking is also available in the 3rd Street South black lot.
- Saturday -
- Parking passes are available at L&N Stadium for purchase, while supplies last.
- Families can park in the lot next to the College of Business for free. (110 West Brandeis Ave.)
- Parking for $20 will be available in the following lots: Floyd Street garage, Speed School, Brook Street lot, and 3rd Street black lot. There will be a free shuttle to L&N Stadium.
- Sunday -

Lodging
Cardinal Family Weekend falls on the same weekend as the Louder Than Life Music Festival, a scheduling overlap that is, unfortunately, beyond our control. As a result, hotel availability near campus may be limited or prices may be higher than usual.
We recommend looking for lodging in other parts of Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding areas.
